Ajo Town Center
This is a panorama of the central district of Ajo, Arizona as seen from the Curley School. All of the property in this section of Ajo was once owned by the copper mine operating company. The copper mine was closed in 1985 and most of the company owned property was bought by local residents. Two of the anchor properties in Ajo are the Plaza and Curley School. These two landmarks are connected by Lomita Avenue, seen in the center of this panorama. |
